Medium Voltage Power Quality
PCS100 MV UPS
Designed for large manufacturing plants through to mega data centers, the PCS100 medium voltage UPS is the solution for any high powered industry. Experience complete power protection for your business by installing Hitachi Energy's PCS100 MV UPS. Multi megawatt ratings, allows customers to choose the solution that best suits their applications. With an efficiency well in excess of 99 percent and a wide range of energy storage options, Hitachi Energy’s PCS100 MV UPS is the ideal solution for your power protection needs. The PCS100 MV UPS has been designed to provide clean, reliable and efficient power, and lower costs for customers in industry and in large data centers who have sensitive or critical loads. The single-conversion topology used is a natural choice for medium voltage as losses are extremely small, meaning efficiencies well in excess of 99.5 percent can be achieved. The PCS100 MV UPS can be installed to protect the complete supply or just selected sensitive loads. The PCS100 MV UPS can start at 2 MVA and grow in size as the factory or data center develops. As well as EDU modularity, the PCS100 MV UPS has inverter modularity, giving extremely high levels of availability through inverter redundancy. |
Hitachi Energy’s PCS100 RPC is the ideal solution for improving power quality in commercial and industrial electrical installations across a wide range of industries.
Power Factor, voltage unbalance, inrush generated sags and harmonics are common power quality problems. These issues can also result in financial penalties and costly electrical equipment malfunctions if left uncorrected. The PCS100 RPC is a reactive power conditioner designed to solve these problems. By injecting reactive current to stabilize the voltage, the RPC can provide a very cost effective solution and correct common problems. It is a high performance modular power electronic system that responds instantly to power quality events while providing continuous reactive power correction. The RPC ranges from 100 kVA to 2000 kVA and can help to mitigate some common supply voltage problems caused by fast changing loads. Such loads can be welders or arc furnaces, or fast changing imbedded generation such as PV solar. |
